Topic: Domestic Transportation Processes

This three-day course provides a comprehensive overview of transportation as a critical function within the supply chain, emphasizing both the strategic and operational aspects of moving goods. Participants will gain a deep understanding of the domestic transportation process, exploring key freight modes and various types of carriers. The course will also cover essential topics such as documentation, cost management, and pricing strategies, with a focus on how businesses plan and optimize routes to enhance efficiency and minimize costs. By the end of the course, you will have a solid foundation in the interconnected elements that drive effective and efficient transportation within the broader supply chain.

 A few notes:

• Please come prepared with topics or questions that you can think of ahead of time as a Q&A session will be facilitated.
  • Questions will need to be collaborative without any trade-secrets being exposed.
• Discussions will be at a non-proprietary level to accommodate a diverse audience, so no NDAs will be required.
• Sign-ups for the session will close 7 days prior to the event. 

How this process works:

1. Upon purchase, you will receive an order confirmation email.

2. Within 48 hours of placing your order, Casey will reach out to you with a link to a Google Form that will be required to fill out in order to attend the event.

3. Upon form completion, you will be sent an invite to attend the session. 

4. You will receive a reminder email 24hours prior to the event where event materials will be shared to bring to the event.

5. 48hours after the event, you will be sent a closing email that includes the materials (again), notes from the meeting, and a list of the attendees.
